China Coast Community residents are:

• over 60 years old
• both male and female
• English-speaking
• Of many different nationalitiesd
• residents of Hong Kong or elsewhere in China and/ or Asia for most of their life
• used to a western lifestyle and international food
• have fair health on admission, but may be high dependency residents if there is a high dependency bed that is not required by any of the existing residents.
